Sri Vidya Mandir Educational Trust constituted in 1982. The trust provides educational facilities of various kinds on a non-commercial basis: Self-supporting, service oriented and feel levying institution. It is not getting any aid, grant or subsidy from the Government. Initially Sri Vidya Mandir Matric Hr. Sec. School, Palacode was inaugurated on 1st June 1982 by his holiness Kanchi Kamakodi Peethom Poojiya Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal. The trust incepted its Higher Education journey during 2018 in the name of Sri Moogambigai Arts and Science College (Women) with 8 Under Graduate Programmes.The College is emerged as one of the major academies in self-financing institutions in Tamil Nadu, India. The college is affiliated to Periyar University, Salem and approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu. At present we offer 18 UG, 8 PG courses and Doctoral Research Programmes (Ph.D.). Our college has academically well experienced teaching faculty members and they cater to the needs of 2500 students on roll. The primary principle of the college is to impart standard education together with discipline and moral values in order to make the students efficient, skilled and innovative and adopt themselves in the digital and global arena.
