“Personality Development through social service”, to prove and witness the above saying, the NSS of our college functions fireless by inviting fraternities from all works & life of also never to instill seize of the social responsibility by emplacing “Not me, but you”. Through NSS of college, awareness Programme on various aspects is being conducted of regular intervals.
Red Cross promotes the Humanitarian values, in turn it encourage respect for other human beings. Both YRC and RRC of our college motivate and guide the students to involve in activities like hospital services, Camp on blood donation, awareness Programme on HIV/AIDS, Family welfare, women Hygiene, Premature Marriage, Child labours, and Relief operations in accidents and so on.
In accordance with UGC norms, ragging in any form is strictly forbidden. The Anti – Ragging Committee in our college is functioning well under the supervision of the Principal. Heads of various departments are its nominated members with two senior students and junior students respectively who voluntarily and effectively participate in the committee. Our Principal also arranges committee meetings in each semester (or) overcome to rectify and develop the queries of the students.
Women Empowerment Cell plays an essential part in our college to empower girl students. Its vital role is to solve the issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for women and the faculties as well. The Cell provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to empower themselves. The Coordinator of the Cell also arranges seminars and lectures with highlighted women for the upliftment and awareness of the womenfolk.
With environmental hazards increasing every year, it’s time to keep our environment clean and safe. Eco Club has the need for creating environmental awareness among the future generation. The Club builds up awareness and education and makes our students not only Eco intelligent but good Eco player also. It trains the green volunteers for gardening on various aspects such as medicinal and agricultural. This Club mobilizes students’ participation for preservation and conservation of nature and to keep our environment green and clean.
