The Department of English was established in the year 2018 with the UG Programme. The Master Degree Programme was started in the year 2020. The department aims to teach students to read, write and speak English effectively and to provide them with the knowledge to communicate successfully in higher education and the corporate world.

Objectives

  • The objectives of the department are to greatly improve the lives of the students to uplift and inspire in rural areas.
  • The department aims to improve and provide better employment opportunities.
  • The Communicative English and Professional English have been taught to enrich and equip the students to realize their full potential.
  • To strengthen students’ abilities in listening, speaking, reading and writing skills both at practical and theoretical level.
  • The department has taken itself the mission of working zestfully and resourcefully to impart the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing to students.
  • Literature –It paves the way for exploration, Increases travel opportunities and provides a critical look at the signs and words surrounding us every day.
  • To enhance communication skills, critical thinking skills and analytical abilities.
  • Develop cultural, social and economic environmental awareness.

Mission
