Sri Moogambigai Arts and Science College for women is using tools - akin Lecture, Case Studies, Role Play, Seminar, Group Discussion, Business Games to provide the students with an opportunity to vitally evaluate the class-room inputs with hard realities of real business life in varied areas such as Strategic Management, Organizational Procedures, Conflict Resolutions, Group Dynamics, Communication, Decision-Making and Leadership Initiatives, etc.. For the benefit of students, we regularly plan and organize Debates, extempore, Seminars, Guest Lectures, and Industrial Visits, Case Studies and Webinars to improve their skills.
All students visit various industries to blend theoretical knowledge with practical knowledge. The students are benefited and they can compare the course material with that of the system being operated in the industry, which helps them to be a part of industrial expertise.
Project and case studies are the integral parts of the professional course. In the project, they have to undergo a training programme in any industry and do research on problems and grievances at all stages. In case studies, the students have to tackle with the present industrial situation and have to offer the right solution to the problems, related to the case.
In curricular activities of the department, Group Discussions have been conducted at regular intervals on current affairs to improve their communication and inter-personal skills.They share their views on the basis of the knowledge gained in the lectures and the expert guidance, as well.
The department is celebrating all the important days. Speech competition, quiz competition, inter-departmental activities and cultural activities are conducted on these days so as to get overall information about their work and to get motivated.
