The department of English was established in the year 2018 with UG programme. The PG programme was started in the year 2020. The department aims to teach students to read, write and speak English effectively and to provide them with the knowledge to communicate successfully in higher education and the corporate world.

Objectives

• The objectives of the department are to greatly improve the lives of the students to uplift and inspire in rural areas.
• The department aims to improve and provide better employment opportunities.
• The Communicative English & Professional English has taught to enrich and equip the students to realize their full potential; to strengthen students’ abilities in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills both at practical and theoretical level.
• The department has taken upon itself the mission of working zestfully and resourcefully to impart the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing to students.
• Literature – it paves the way for next… Increases travel opportunities: Provides critical look at the signs and words surrounding us every day.

Vision

• The vision of the department is to offer students adequate communication skills to prepare them for their professional needs in the globalized scenario prevalent today.
• We seek to foster knowledge and a love of literature and of language in our students. We will encourage a love of learning and an appreciation for a liberal education.

Mission

• We look to have our students become independent, self-motivated learners, confident in their research and synthesizing skills; Strive to assist students in finding professional employment that makes effective use of the skills and knowledge acquired in their training, both inside and outside the academic community.
• To disseminate the most ideal pedagogical inputs for literary studies from undergraduate to post doctoral level on par with the best worldwide institutes.
